I am preparing to install 4 of these marine subs in a boat. They are pretty hefty speakers: 10”, 4 ohm, 50-200W RMS, 700W Peak and will require a lot of juice. My current plan is to wire them in an overall 4ohm configuration. Wiring them down to a 2ohm load seems like it will set some high amp demands, and wiring them in an 8ohm configuration 'might' impact their performance capabilities - not sure.
I’m interested in an amplifier recommendation and am hoping to stay in the range of $350 or less. I know I have several options, but I would prefer to stay with one amp to fire the subs, however, I would consider two amps if the facts / price are compelling enough. I am currently leaning towards using a Class D, 2 channel amp, bridgeable to 1 channel and stable at a 4ohm load - but I don't have a particular amp in mind. I would like to stay in a class D considering the power demands, and knowing that these speakers will perform better at higher RMS levels, I am trying to find a compromise between sufficient power and price. I’m thinking the amp would need to be pretty hefty even if I was to try and push 50W RMS to each speaker. But, I am open to other options and I would consider 2, two channel amps that I could run each individual speaker off of or other ideas not obvious to me. Is there something I'm not considering? Thanks.

Moved to Class D, you seem to be asking about amps not speakers.
