Default TA2020 enough for Cambridge Audio's S30 bookshelf?

Greetings,

I've been playing around lately with various setups and a TA2020 board (from Arjen).

I have an opprtunity to buy a pair of Cambridge Audio's highly recommended S30 bookshelf pair for a small/medium living room with 50/50 Movies/Music usage (moderate listenning volume and a separate Subwoofer).
http://www.cambridgeaudio.com/assets...sedreprint.pdf

Would the TA2020 board be up to the job driving them w/o significant decrease in sound quality?
or shall I consider them only with a more powerfull board (i.e. TK2050 or TI5613 variants)?

The S30 Spec. are:

Sensitivity:90dB
Frequency Response:55hz - 20kHz
Nominal Impedance:4-8 Ohms
Drive units:Tweeter: 1 x 25mm (1”)
Woofer: 1 x 115mm (4.5") mid/bass driver

Crossover:1st Order 2 way
Recommended maximum amplifier power:100 watts
Ported:1 Rear
Magnetically shielded:Yes
Dimensions (H x W x D):226 x 160 x 235mm (inc. grill)
(8.9 x 6.3 x 9.2”)

Weight:3.75kg (8.3lbs)

Thanks,
Gal

My generic TA2024 amp does a decent job of powering a set of Boston Acoustics speakers with similar specs (8 ohm, 90db sensitivity, 4.5" woofer) in a small to mid-sized room. Since the TA2020 is slightly more powerful, you'll probably get similar results, but the only way to know for sure is to try.

Thanks - thats good to hear

I just wanted to collect other people insight before I spend my $$$ and commit to buy unsuitable HW.

Any other experiences ?
