Using a duplicate of the lower half output section (with the 530) and inverted drive signals with 100ns rise/fall times and a 500Khz oscillation frequency I modelled the output. The shoot-through is under 280mA. What exact conditions appear in normal running with this circuit would take a complete analysis with the real output stage, but there's a good chance it actually works.
