Thanks for all the info. As the application is for a portable mono-channel PA, can the two channels be "used in parallel" for more power? I guess the question is "how to turn the stereo configuration into a mono configuration with more power"

I think that's not possible:
"The board can not be bridged to make 200W mono. This is because the tp2050 is already paralleled on this board." (from the ebay auction)

In the review the maker writes:

"In fact, the TP2050 is really a Tripath-branded STI Microsystems STA-505"

Does that mean they are identical?

About the non-inverting: I myself think that is not possible to hear. If you move your ears 0,01 mm closer to the speakers you will hear the non-inverted signal. (just a guess

Nope , You have to mount the driver inside out, To hear the non-inverted sound, LOL

hi, the coils we used one v2.0 now is type -2, which is suggested on the application note of Tripath. other coils may works but not good enough, some may lead to high temperature or even burn.

Right. we have to choose another power stage IC for 200W use.
