I have two TK2050 amps for a 7.1 setup coming off my computer sound card.
I tried using one Meanwell 27V SMPS and got too much hum. So I am adding another Meanwell 27V this week. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I've just tried a hp c7296-60043 adapter for my tk2050. exactly same parameters as above. would'nt even start. had the same problem with a 30v 0,4A output(12w) hp adapter. i got the amp working with an electronic screwdrivers battery but it distorted at low frequencies. - couldn't handle bass. so i guessed it must be the weak pwr supply. cant find a well working one ever since.
i know this is an old thread, but any help is welcome
a guide for installing a potentionmeter (volume control) would be welcomed as well
