Is the input impedance of the IRAudAmp7 about 3.3K ohms ? That would certainly require a low output impedance preamp . Has anyone used it with just a passive volume control?
On the same note, the TDA892x classD amps have a 68K ohm input impedance and can be used direct with a passive volume control. I brought up this point as I find that using anything between a classD power amp and the source could alter the sound of the basic classD module.
