Um10155 & pspice

Has anyone got the UM10155 to run in Cadence PSPICE?
I only get the "ERROR -- Convergence problem in transient bias point calculation" and I just can't get past it.

You need to "use initial conditions" for your transient solution. You probably need to mess with this some, and set certain node voltages and device currents to nonzero values. On the other hand it may work with only "uic" set.

Did you use Load?
I mean a 4 ohm resistor as a basic model of the speaker to load the amp?
Sometimes it helps...

Yes, I used a resistive load (however, interesting to see the UcD’s ability to drive capacitive and inductive loads).

I got it to simulate with the SKIPBP checked (UiC), lowered the maximum step size, STEPGMIN checked and auto converged checked. I also needed to put initial voltages over the C5 and C7 capacitor. Need to play with the parameters a little bit more though.

Yes, I've had it simulate with LTSpice. Be warned - there will be a DC offset on the speaker > 50mv and no way to adjust it. That app. note is somewhat incomplete.
