omitting lowpass using tripath TA 2024

Hi,

i am new to this and would be interested under which
conditions the output reconstruction lowpass filter can
be omitted in an class d amp.

When connecting a full bridge class d amp directly to a fullrange
speaker using short cables ( say < 30 cm ) , and the fullrangers
Lvc is compensated by an RC in parallel , there would in fact be
a lowpass filter.

Could the reconstruction filter now be omitted ?

Is it nessesary to shield the speaker wires to supress RF radiation ?

What do you think ?

yes i think i can get shorter with speaker cables maybe,
but besides unwanted RF radiation, what problems could occur ?

I thought if the HF power dissipated in the speaker is not a problem and
RF radiation could at least be shielded, this would be a way to go.

But my knowledge in HF and Radio issues is little, so i'd like to hear
some advice from the specialists ...:confused:
 
The main problem is that the voice is the main contributor to RF beaming ... I wouldn't do it because I don't like getting arrested for being a hazard to public safely, and get thrown in jail or at least heavily fined.

The frequency that Tripath amps work at is around the frequency used as emergency channel for marine and airspace authorities in Europe. Even a few mWs of RF noise in that frequency range is going to be taking quite seriously these days.
