I am looking for a Class D amp design to build or buy pre built. I will be used for speakers so SQ is of some importance
What is out there? I am not interested in NewclassD, Hypex or something "ordenary". It will need to deliver 200W or more at 8 Ohms. Is there such a thing out there?

Truepath, amp15 or amp7 spring to mind. Depending on your music taste and speakers either of those will beat pretty much anything on the market regardless of cost or technology.
I've at least heard them completely humiliate a Mark Levison amp in the USD8000 range. |

Amp 7 looks interesting. I read at www.41hz.com that there will be a Amp 7-PS by the end of the year. Maybe I will wait for this one seeming it makes it even easier to make an amp

Our coldamp amplifier module BP4078 is also suitable for your needs. We have switching power supplies for it, too. Have a look at our webpage or drop us an e-mail. It is 400W/4ohm or 200W/8ohm, although we are also preparing a lower power amplifier (250W/4ohm) and a bigger one (750W/4ohm), as well as some other products.
Best regards, Sergio |
