dead mixer

i have a problem, i have a yamaha stagepas 300 that we normaly use for pa work at our out door camp, it was purchased in the states so we use a 220 to 110v transformer, unfortunately someone decided to help and plugged it in to 220v and blew a capacitor on the psu which i replaced, it now powers up and the power amp works in that when i turn uo the master volume it makes a louder noise through the speaker but the input from the mixer section is very distorted, please can someone help, thanks in advance.

The Scottish word for your problem is "buggered", but I doubt the spellchecker will let that one past.

so i took the whole thing apart and re-assembled it and hey it's working! not buggered! thanks any way.

I hope that since you took it apart you replace the internal trafo so it won't happen again.

yes it has an external converter from 220v to 110v unfortunately the mixer belongs to a friend of mine so i cannot keep tabs on how it is being used, thanks for the reminders though.
