sheilding tripath amps to prevent RFI

my question regards putting a tripath amp inside a plastic cabinet radio.

ive noticed that some of the tripath amps i've worked with have caused hash om AM radios that are nearby. if the amp board was to be placed in a metal enclosure that was grounded to the radios chassis do you think it would keep the hash out?

It can't hurt. You might also consider putting small ferrite cores around the wires exiting the box.

Search for Tripath's AN11 and AN17 documents.
It's all in there. ;)
