Default simple, hybrid Class D/G/H idea

I saw this:

...and thought of driving some power transistors with it, to get more output power. A higher voltage supply for the power transistors could be made with a switching step-up supply, but I didn't want multiple oscillators and heterodyning problems, so the PWM amplifier is used as the oscillator.

This has the added benefit that the high voltage supply is modulated by the signal, as is done in class G/H and "envelope tracking" amplifiers.

I don't know if this would work (and in my laziness I left out some obvious things-input capacitor, output filter, output DC blocking of some kind, etc), but I am interested in feedback about the rough idea.

Important: op-amp is LM380 or LM386 audio power amplifier (inputs are ground referenced)
