Hi
I've carried out two monoblocks with Ecotec 600 watts modules and they are fantastic; they drive my Magneplanar 3.3/R without any effort. Their sound is rich, smooth and warm (tube-like sound) not cold as someone could think. I spent 700 euros (Canterbury transformers and cases included). Now I'm selling my Krell KSA 50.

They look like great amps. Others have mentioned good experiences also.
Too bad they sound "tube like", I would want something better.
😀
Just yanking your chain, it always cracks me up to read a comparison attributing tube sound as some souring standard to reach. It's like saying a plasma TV is good because it displays like a CRT.

Or as the esteemed Mr. Vaughn is fond of pointing out, "why does no one describe their tube amp as sound like solid state"?!

Probably "tube-sound" isn't the correct world. Properly I would say that the sound of these amplifiers is not harsh, the voices are clean, the sound flows effortless; the soundstage is fantastic. Never using the Krell I heard this sound from Magneplanars that fills my 50 m2 listening room.
