Is that 2kW/4ohms?
If so I'm very interested, they'll be the first people (apart from CAD Audio who nobody will touch with a bargepole) and Hypex (who are expensive and only want to sell their big amps to OEMs) to sell modules to the DIY market at these power levels.
Do you have any clues about prices?
Ian
a quick update to say that Red Rocks Audio has finished the OEM project and they are working now full time in new series of high power SMPS + class D modules. Class D up to 3000W RMS and SMPS up to 4kW RMS. And even more power later
First modules should be available begin of 2010 at very competitive prices.
Some OEMS are already interested by this new series for 19" rack amps so we can expect commercial offers to show off in Frankfurt Prolight and Sound...

Arthur, could you clarify - will they be selling any of the products they used to sell to the DIY community? Ie. SMPS6060? Or nothing at all?
Thankyou for your help
Well, that's a good question. I only talked about new products. Let me check and I will get back to you on Monday
