I don't know much about amp design but I was thinking about current drive with class D.
Is it feasible?

If you want current drive, then the amplifier will have a high (not low) output impedance!
It is possible (and quite easy) to use the self-oscillating 'UCD' technique to provide an amplifier with the NFB derived from the output current, rather than the output voltage. |
