Possible to design a high-power class D amp with a low output impedance?

If you want current drive, then the amplifier will have a high (not low) output impedance!

It is possible (and quite easy) to use the self-oscillating 'UCD' technique to provide an amplifier with the NFB derived from the output current, rather than the output voltage.
