I bought some Event TR8 active monitor's recently, but the amp board has gone wrong in one of them...
I was hoping to replace the amp (it was LM3886 chips aka gainclone) with the amp6 basic. I'll be down on power but I'll have better SQ which is what I'm after. ![]() Now, I was wondering what the best way of making an active XO would be? Could I use the rail aplitter from the tripath chip or would it be better to use a separate split rail power supply for the op-amps? |
