In certain circuits yes, but generally no. If you're in any doubt and it's a valuable piece of gear I'd go the extra mile for an "in spec" part. If it's in the cause of education then you can feel free to substitute tolerances and values (within reason)

I would use tight tolerance parts when matching gain, bias and frequency response between channels. But a well designed circuit should still work properly even with 25% deviant parts.
