I'm searching two C-core transformers for my Eco Tec 600 watts modules in Europe (spec:
Primary 230Vac, 50Hz Secondary 70Vrms, 9A (for full power, you can derate this for lower power) Auxiliaries 15Vrms, 0V, 15Vrms auxiliary secondaries (centre-tapped) at 0.3A. I've contacted the Avondale Audio but they don't have them no longer. Someone could help me? Thank you |

You need someone to build them to your specs,,, in italy we got Delbini [ near Bergamo IIRC - http://www.dte-trasformatori.it/frsindex.htm ] and Fiat Trasformatori [ no, it ain't the car maker, it's in Roma - http://www.fiat-trasformatori.it/ ].

Dear Basstard
thank you for your reply. I call the FIAT transformers the next week. Did you ever buy something from them? Regards |

yes, I bought a small toroidal trafo in 2007 and they were very quick, I called in at lunch hour and then the very next day it was ready and I went buying it. You can order by phone. They ain't exactly cheap and I've seen better transformers around but they're the only company I know that can do you toroidals to your specs. A search for "trasformatori" on www.paginegialle.it around your hometown might be worth a try too.

Probably I'll ask an estimate to Bartolucci and Elettronicanovarria. Regards |

Yes, on their website there is this possibility. Obviously their transformers will be cheaper than Bartolucci. I received a very good offer from Canterbury UK but, in this case, they are toroidal.

I mean:http://www.canterburywindings.co.uk/. Terry Monaghan has a very good reputation and is very competitive (195 euro for two toroidal transformers shipping included).
