Hi All
I'm trying to decide between a 41hz amp6 or a ChipAmp LM1875 for my first amp project. My knowledge of electronics is very limited so I'm wanting to start with the easiest project. I also want the best quality I am capable of building. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers- Preston |

I have no experience with chipamp, but have successfully built Amp6-Basic some time ago. My knowledge of electronics and soldering skills are quite limited too, but assembling this amp was quite straightforward.
And the sound is great, again cannot compare to the other amp your're considering. Maybe things get a little blurry (losing detail) when playing very complex music with lots of stuff going on. Might be my speakers too.. and it's not that bad really. Great sounding little amp! |

Thanks for your thoughts Mustik.
I am familiar with the Tripath amps using 2 SonicImpact amps in my current set-up. Cheers- Preston |
