Hi,
I have a few questions regarding choosing parts for building a dual mono hypex UcD400. I'm gonna use one transformer pr side. Will I get any sonic benefits from using 500VA transformers over the 250VA transformers? How come the 250VA transformer is almost as expensive as the 500VA? Is the 500VA lower quality? I notice there's a regular HG PSU and a mono HG PSU. Will using the regular PSU in a mono configuration improve sound quality vs the mono version? can I use a single soft start unit when using two trannies and PSUs? Would building the PSUs into a separate enclosure make any sense? Will this improve sound quality? Thanks Audun |
