I recently bought a Charlize2 amp and after making all the solder connections am only getting sound from one channel, the left channel. The right channel is dead. When I turn on power to the amp which I measured at 12.57 vdc (I'm using a lithium-ion 11.1 v battery) I hear a distinct click from the left speaker and a fainter click in the right speaker. I did a continuity check from the mp3 player I'm using as a source up to where the input is soldered to the board. My eyesight is not the greatest but all the solder connections look alright to me. Is there a way to troubleshoot this - I don't have access to an oscilloscope. I don't see any physical damage to any of the components. (And of course have not seen any smoke from anything.) I don't suppose it would make any sense to take it to some type of audio repair, would it? By the way the MP3 player I hooked it up to was an iRiver model and have not seen any ill effects to the player from all of this.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,

since you can hear a click on both speakers it looks like you may have a problem on the input part.
Did you check ?:
- Signal and ground are not reversed on both inputs ?
- Measure DC offset on inputs ?
- Bad interconnect connexion from your iriver (try moving the cable while playing) ?
Hope this helps.
