Has anyone looked into using the innards of one of the IcePower car amps as a base for a home system amp? They seem to go for not very much on eBay (there's one by Eclipse at the moment at quite little for 4 bridgeable 175W 4ohm channels, claims to be full range). Or are the car amp designs entirely different than the home ones?
I got a pair of the 200W AC powered modules that were being sold a while back on the Market forum, am really surprised at how good they turned out, certainly better than what I had been using before. But since B&O won't sell modules to DIYers, wondering if maybe the car amp versions might be another angle towards getting hold of them.

Pioneer sells some nice car amps using B&O ICEpower technology, it uses good opamps and dedicated ICEpower ICs , it seems very well engineered.

All 3 the same model, just different codes for different countries.
Always wanted to buy one out of curiousity ..... never did so far.
