Class D for sound reinforcement rigs?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to class D amplifiers and hope you guys can help me out!

I have just taken over running of a music society at a university which is in need of an equipment overhaul. With regard to amplification the weight and size advantages of class D combined with SMPSs appeals very much to our storage/strength limited operation.

So, I'm looking first to build an 'all in one box' bi-amp setup for a turbosound TFM330 floor monitor which requires LF: 800 W @ 8 ohms and HF: 200 W @ 8 ohms. Module manufacturers such as Hypex, Coldamp, and CADaudio all appear to provide potentially suitable candidates but maybe there's something out there i've missed. Are there any topologies which are generally accepted as superior for higher power applications?

Anyway would be good to hear your thoughts/suggestions. What would you guys use for this application?

I mentioned it only because it's just exactly what you are searching for: 800 W sin, 1200 W music power, 8 ohm (protection trips at ~5,5 ohm), power supply on board.

What would you like to know? It's an UcD based amp, single ended, with +/-145-150 V idle supply voltage. The PSU is not stabilized, but it have short circuit protection. It's a modified LLC converter.
