Hi all.
Do you know about alternative to warm power supply that can replace the hypex power suplly? (without need for the soldering) I want to get warm sound and not cool like the typical of digital Amp Thanks maor |

Are you for some unknown reason trying to insinuate that the Hypex supplies would not be to your eclectic liking because they are "cold sounding"?
If you wish, email me and I'll put to bed your concerns before you post more absurdity. |

MA_AV: I have Hypex power supplies (the ones with the slit foil caps) and I don't think they sound cool. I'm not sure why you feel this way. I think the Hypex amps, together with the Hypex power supply sound clear and clean, rather neutral. They have a lot less bass then some other solid state amps I have, but I certainly wouldnt call that cool or digital sound.
What do you mean by "typical of digital amp"? What digital amp? Class T or class D or something else? |
