Hi Guys. I intend using a 10Ah SLA for my (soon to be modded) TA10.1. Do any of you knowledgeable chaps think I need a cap-bank ot help out? if so, what would be the simplest way to make one, and what sort of caps should I use?
Lots of questions I know, any help greatly received! Steve. |

I've got about 15AH of SLAs from scrap UPS units doing nothing, they're yours for the price of a cup of tea (or two)
I will even deliver them so I can have a listen to the Trends! John |

Hi John! hows tricks? I had 4 SLA's also from a UPS, but they are all duds! I have ordered one, but if you have some going spare that would be great!
Tea / coffee is always a pleasure. The final gluing of the sachiko's on sunday, if you fancy coming round I should have the sla going too, you are more than welcome! Steve. |

No worries, I will bring them round and you can give them a testing.
I've got nothing on for Sunday and I dare say another pair of hands would be useful for moving the sachikos, or maybe a strong trolley. Let me know what time and I will mooch over. |

Any time in the afternoon is fine John, thanks.
Another member here, Puffin, had me thinking about using SLA's and the possible problems inherent in their use, hence the idea for a capacitor to smooth the output, any suggestions are welcome! |
