Krell KSA change

I use a Krell KSA 50 matching to my Magneplanars 3.3/R since five years; now I would replace it with a UcD 700 HG, but I'm not sure of the change. Someone could give me an advice? Do you believe that UcD would be better than Krell?

i dont believe..a class D amp can never sounds well than class A

Just go ahead with the change.
UCD will give you much better defination & clarity.

If you are a musician I suggust you listen to one first.
It will definately change your impressions regarding ClassD

well, I'll be a dodo.
I'll stick with a good ClassA anytime.
And I won't even bother with listening to a ClassD design, good or bad.

I think you require a blind test or may be u prefer to live in the stone age.

that's why I'm like the dodo. I have no intention of ever letting a ClassD amp near my analogue ears.

are you still stuck with your old vinyl records & cassette tapes.

So finally digital In and analoque Out for your ears.

hi i am an electronics engineer and a 250watts class D amp was my graduating project..i now a lot about Class D..i am agree with andrew..a good Class A is better than class D..and i listened to mory cante yeke yeke record

and it was very beautiful than cd..analog is still better..but maybe in future digital will be better..hi andrew..have you ever made a Class A mj amp? my friend did it and says it is the best class A.. have a look..this site contains hi-end documents.. http://www.cooltune.ch/Projects/Megalith01.htm
