I'm looking for a new amp for my Oris/Lowther combination. Around $400 I've found some interesting combinations:
Winsome Mouse Kingrex T20 with PSU Kingrex T20 Audiomagus mods Trends with Audiomagus value mod and PSU Even though my speakers are very efficient, some people reports that the Lowther really opens up with a bit power(Link 1, link 2). Can some of you say something about the above combinations, or maybe suggest something else? Frode |

Why not start with a $30 Sonic T just to check whether you like class D amplification? It should drive your Lowthers to adequate volume already.

A lot of the T amp mods are for more bass. You don't need that with the oris because they're over 150Hz anyway (if I'm thinking of the right Oris)
it should sound good, I think the difference between good and great will be in the high end detail. |
