i want to use the original voume control and input jack but want to add the inpute caps ,how do i do this?

any help out there i want to add caps to improve the base, but want to use the stock volume control and input set up .what changes do i make in the board to include caps and where do they go.As you can tell i am new at this .

It sounds like you want version 2. I did version 3.

Sorry, I can't. I did mod #3, and I used bipolar (film & foil) caps rather than electrolytics so I didn't pay any attention to which side of the inputs was positive.

I'll bet you could confirm it yourself with a voltage meter. Failing that you can probably take the website's word for it, or make sure to get bipolar caps and it won't matter which is positive.
