My DIY Tripath amplifier

Here is an amp I built for a class project that uses the TA2024 chip. I used polypropylene caps and metal film resistors for the input. I built a linear regulated supply for power (I hate wallwarts). It sounds damn good, and I really like it. It's the first amp I have ever built.

Nice looking amp! You certainly went all out.

As Lee asked, did you make your own PCB? And did you design the power supply?

Thanks for the compliments. I laid out the board in Protel, and the college has a machine that makes prototype boards. I designed the power supply, and salvaged the heatsink from an old PC PSU.
