Hi @doomy86
Were you able to finish your Boominator?
Really curious about the amp you ended up choosing.
Also @lutkeveld do you happen to have some of those HP10W left?
Many thanks!

Bru5 (DSP and Bluetooth)Thanks to lutkeveld i will soon get 4 pieces of HP10W drivers.
I could not find any PHT-407N tweeters so it will be the Monacor MPT-001 from Thoman (they also have the 10" speaker grill).
I am now looking for a fitting Amp to use the full potential of the Boominator. I could not find the recommended amp9 anywhere but here should be some other more modern solutions available nowadays.
Saturnus wrote that one driver can take a maximum of 50Wrms in the Boominator (30Wrms without the input cap modification of the amp9)
The TPA3255 looks like the best fit, plenty of power and i can easily build a custom 8-12s battery with 18650 cells to drive it at 36-48V.

It would be ideal to remove the cover to dissipate the heat if the amp is used a lot.

Thanks for your answer @denbret !
I couldn't find any info on the efficiency of this one, plus I'm not sure how to deal with the 5w output
This looks close to the Max20 amp : https://www.kiwi-electronics.com/en/stereo-20w-class-d-audio-amplifier-max9744-946
Would you advise going with something like this for the original design? (no DSP sadly)

If anyone is looking for drivers in the USA for a build drop me a line. I have drivers for the full size boominator (P-Audio mid and tweeters) and NS6 drivers for the mini.
I'd like to make some space in the shop since I don't plan to build any more of these in the near term.
