Something to consider tho is that a big lump like that is changing the box volume.....
Yes I think I know what you mean, tried it earlier but it didn't work. Result: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...4/boombox6.PNG

I have an idea of increasing the height of the Qubinator with 1cm but leaving the other dimensions as they are. If I also lower all the holes inside the box by 1cm I will have gained 2cm of extra space for my amp. I think this might be a solution...

Feasible but tricky..... You won't need the cutout or the recessed dish..

Challange accepted... As long as it wont hurt the sound quality nor the build quality.
Still need the recessed dish and the coutout though, since I'm still going to be needing inputs for the amp (wich is at the back side of the amp). Right?
BTW, the HP-10T arrived today

I still highly encourage to use active filters (analog or digital) if you're not using a piezo.
I have been looking at a minidsp which appears to need biamping, unless the 2 channels can be split at the output stage of the AMP6 rather than the input..... and the final costs are going up all the time.....

Saturnus, you have recommened these speakers:
Woofer: Monacor SP-60 SP-60/4 - Monacor HiFi bass-midrange speakers 60Wmax 4Ω - Europe Audio
Tweeter: ND16FA-6 ND16FA-6 - Dayton 5/8 inch Neodymium Dome Tweeter - Europe Audio
Highpass to tweeter 6.8 uf capasitor

Do i need L-pad in tweeters in this set? Or do those woofers and tweeters match together without L-pad.
