Don't know what was wrong, I just resoldered all the connections . Probably something shorted .
I used your genious signal injection method first to make sure the amp was OK.

And am happy to report that thanks to Sjef the hum of my amp is nearly inaudible from 1 meter in front of my 96db speakers! I grounded the housing of the obligatoos.
The amp with the pot sounds very smooth and full. I have not listened to the amp for a long time but I am almost sure this PEC pot is a nice improvement. |
