Question problem using tda 8920bj

I made a circuit similar to that given in the datasheet of philips tda8920bj(2 x 100W IC). But the ic doesn't seem to switch on.
I wanted to know how to measure the STABI voltage. When the mode voltage of 5.6V is given to pin 23 it is redcucing down to 0V,and when i remove the connection from this pin it becomes 5.6V from the supply using thezener diode. I saw EVA and Primoz dealings about this ic. I don't know even what kind of protection is activated in my circuit.Can anyone help to solve my problem?
