Ucd 180 as subwoofer amp ?

Hi ! Is the Hypex ucd 180 module able to built into a subwoofer amplifier ? If yes how do i go abt doing it . Is it also necessary that i buy their power supply module or can i diy something similar ? Thankz.

Of course you can use the UcD180 as a sub amp. You can also use it as a midrange amp or even a tweeter amp. You can use it however you want You can also build your own power supply if you wish.

The UCD's make fine subwoofer amps.

is it possible to use UCD180 as a driver stage to drive another board with more powerfull mos-fets ? i`m not interested in sound quality above 100Hz

You mean tap into the UcD gate drive circuitry to drive other MOSFETs? Possible but not unless you are pretty skilled.

Just buy UcD400 or other version.
