Default tripath amp interfering with radio reception

Hi,

I'm trying to use the tripath 4-channel amp from audio digit in my car, directly above the radio receiver. It causes a lot of inteference to the radio reception.

Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?
Say, putting the amp into a metal box or the like?

thanks

Move it far away from your radio.

Does the amp use air core inductors? If so, try switching them out for toroids or some shielded inductor.

Putting it in a metal box and grounding the box should help.

There can still be a lot of RF on the speaker lines. But your antenna wire should be shielded, right?

What if I house the amp in a cardboard box and "giftwrap" the box with aluminim foil? The foil should be in contact with the head unit chassis, which should ground it, would this work?
