Would .47ohm 3W resistors be correct? I am new to this.

Power=Amps * Amps * Resistance

I don't remember what the idle current is for your Aleph J (2.4A per channel??), but I think 3W is too low for a stereo pair, and pushing it for a mono.

I would parallel the resistors. Wouldn't this deal with the dissipation issue?

Parralel .47 ohm resistors will help, but I would calculate the wattage anyway

Hello john65b, Just a quick couple question's.... How do you have the aleph j configured for mono blocks ? Do they need to be balanced or can a single rca be used ? Thank's

Oh ! Nice, do they accomodate the J74/J109 and bipolar CCS easily ? Is it possible to see a layout of the board ? How much do you charge for them ?
