Default Chipamp.com people around?

Hi everyone:

I ordered a PSU unit from Chipamp.com about 4 days ago. Haven't heard from anyone at all. Left another e-mail and a voicemail and nothing.

Has anyone heard from Chipamp.com recently?

Hi,
One month ago, I ordered several pcb's, the order was shipped eight days later..
I do not know why..
I received an email to inform me of the dispatch.
Phil.

philfr:

Thanks for that. You've built a few of the Chipamp kits, haven't you?
Allan, while trying hard to be helpful, has not been good at replying to my phone calls or e-mails. He has a few times
waited weeks, or even months, before replying.

You'd think that they'd include a shipping status feature on the Website, but no. <rollseyes>

I build several GC with Chipamp PCB's and some componants, LM1875, LM3875, LM3886..
But I never build Chipamp kit.

Last year, something changed with Chipamp.com, but I don't know more, maybe a new owner ?

I'll guess that shop owner (who that might be) also has his webshop in his mobile phone so he will notice a new order and can respond just saying that the order will be delayed for instance. I notice that the webshop doesn't have any terms and conditions so you don't know what to expect.

I finally got an e-mail today from Allan stating that he would ship the order tomorrow.

7 days before getting any communication, but at least it's going out soon.

Hi,
I think Chipamp and Audiosector have the same owner. Chipamp must be managed remotely, but it's works..
Maybe they have problem with redirecting emails ?
Phil.

I ordered an LM3886 kit on the 7th of Feb. Received a receipt from paypal, and an order confirmation from chipamp. Order is currently "processing".

Have sent a few emails asking questions to every different chipamp related email I can find. Nothing.

I understand chipamp may be a secondary job for him, but when you accept money from people, you have an obligation to provide a minimum standard of service.
