Ssm2211 Shutdown Mode

i am new to this forum.i have following question i have that someone will help me out on this forum
i am using ssm2211 audio amplifier.my application requires that i use the shutdown mode of the ssm2211.i want that when the input signal is less than 200mV thge amplifier shouyld go into shutdown mode and when the input is greater that 200mV the amp should amplify the audio.
i have tried the example circuit in the datasheet for input threshold level 0f 50mV but it is not working. i have tried all but couldnot find the reason.i have emailed ADI but they say there is some thing wrong in my calculations.
has anyone used ssm2211 in similar application using its shutdown feature.can anyone help me
