Hey guys, i want to know which is the name of the tool to bend 1-2mm metal foil.
I want to purchase that machine (hand/manual) to build some cases. But my english is not good and dont know how named it to search the web for the price, hope someone can help me ![]() i want an cheap tool |

http://www.southern-tool.com/store/m...pan_brake.html ... and you can make its own stand with it ... shipping on this stuff can be another arm and leg ... best suggestion is compare prices on ebay, then find a comparable gadget close to home and jump in the ol' pickup and go get it.

I built a aluminium chassis box (1.6mm thick) at home. No special tools for bending. I used the door edges to hold the sheet and hand bent the sheet.
Crude !! but doable.

ive used a nice vise. you just clamp where you want to bend and use a board (i used a large piece of wood) to press against it at the clamp, and it made a nice bend.

Sorry, I don't speak well english.
1) the front and rear are commercial-outlined aluminum (www.alfer.com) 2) the fund is an aluminum plate with L profiles and rivets 3) the top is an aluminium plate with bi-adhesive tape 4) I attach an explanatory sketch and, then, other pics. GOOD LUCK !!!! |
