I purchased the following transformer for my audiosector gainclone:
Plitron 067014011, 18V @ 6.25 amps, 225VA, 2x115 VAC, F:50
I will be wiring this for 230v mains and couldn't find any info at the plitron site. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or a simple explanation on how to do this. Sorry for the noob question.
Thanks!

There should be a label on the transformer. The two 115v primaries are wired in series, but you must get them in the right order. If you look on the label the starts (or maybe the finishes) of the secondary windings is denoted by a dot. You must wire finish1-start2 between the windings.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hi,
that pic showing wht and brn next to each other indicates that these two wires should be connected and the other two primaries become live and neutral.
Just power it up through a mains light bulb and even if we have got it wrong there will be no damage and no fuse blowing and no overheating and no tears.

http://www.plitron.com/standard_schematics.asp
