Hi !!
I need a good sounding quad opamp, in dip package. Mainly I use OPA134 series, but OPA4134 isn't avaliable in DIP package anymore. I like this opamp very very much, it's very realiable, and not very costly. It CAN'T be more expensive than an OPA4134. What would you suggest? Thank you very much ! Best Regards, Fernando |

Hello !
I appreciate the answers OPA2134 is a dual version, I need a quad version. OPA4134 + DIP adapter is very high cost, as the adapter costs more than 5usd. MC33179 is much more cheaper than OPA4134, if it have a good sound, will be a GREAT solution, I'll buy and test it. But I want more suggestions Opa 4228 is very expensive... But I'm asking myself... WHY they don't make 4134 in dip package anymore???? Thanks !!! Best Regards |

MC33179 : 5Mhz, 2v/s slewrate
134 series: 8Mhz, 20v/s slewrate. TL074, 3Mhz, 13v/s slewrate LM837 (NE5532 Quad modern): 25Mhz, 10v/s slew rate. I think that talking about specs, the LM837 is the best comparing to 134 series... Talking about the SOUND, how slew rate and frequecy affects the sonics? Best Regards ! |

Well maybe try makeing a dual Opamp to Quad Opamp adapter that will convert 2 Dual 2134 into a single 4134......
I recently designed a Two Single Dip8 to Dual Dip8 adapter so I could use a couple OPA627 in the Dual Opamp Footprint and they work Great....... Just a Thought..... |
