How to connect POT for BrianGT Kit

I would like to connect this 50K pot at the RCA input to the amp. But I am not sure the correct connection for the interconnect, I want to build a special interconnect to use with this pot so that only when I need to use volume control I will use this interconnect.

what is Zin of your chipamp?

Aim for pot value ~= Zin/10 or at least >=Zin/5
