lm3886 layout

hello all,
there are so many variations on the basic circuits out there, i thought i would ask everyone here what schemata they recommend/have had success with for the 3886 chip. i am using a switching power supply, so i do not need psu layouts, but just the layout of the amplifier proper.
at the moment, i am basing my circuit on the one seen here:

and i will- for the moment being- be simply using a 50k pot on the input for volume control. so i wonder if this particularly affects- like with the inverted lm3875- my ideal circuit. thanks.

I simply used the Datasheet schematic with great results...But I didn"t do point to point like in the link you provided as I etched my own PCB but it works great....
