Hi! i'm new here...

recently i've build the same amplifier Syber wants to build...

http://www.nxp.com/acrobat/datasheet...557Q_CNV_2.pdf

somewhere in the PDF says that if we connect pin 12 with two diodes to the ground then the distortion is reduced...

can someone tell me what kind of diodes do i need and how i connect them? (i have some BA159 spare...)

@Syber the TDA1557Q is very simple to construct it...you can even building in a bread board.

what friend. do u really need a PCB layout for TDA1557Q??

its the simplest amplifier chip available with zero component count. Simply solder the IC on a general purpose PCB and solder pin headers for input and output. put 2 caps for power supply filtering. And you got a working 4 ch amplifier

Default H.W. mounting TDA-xxxx on Experimental PCB

How to solder such a Chip-Amp on the commercial experimental PCB's ?
The usual ones have a pace of 2.54 mm.
Chips have the front-pin's-line spaced 2.54mm ; the back-pin's-line is spaced 2.54mm as well but misaligned with respect to the Front one.
Any suggestion on "how to do" ?
