I am totally new to this whole chip amp concept. I have no clue at all about how they work or sound. I'd like to buy a kit and get my feet wet.
What are the better kits out there sound quality wise and what sound quality could I expect from one |

This should give you an idea what to expect: http://diyaudioprojects.com/Chip/LM3.../LM3886_CA.htm
The impedance on your speaker and sensitivity decide what chip amp to build. Usually LM3875 or LM3886. |
