Just trying out using mosfets with the lm 4702

why do you put the n channel down to minus and the p channel to plus?

you can try this -- sans some of the necessary bells and whistles -- you will have to determine the values of resistors for the bias generator, etc -- based on a thought by Borbley:

LM4702 is hivolt hifi audio amplifier driver.
It has got 2 outputs:
- one inverting
- one non-inverting
It was originally made to control a complementary Bipolar Follower stage
and has got a VBE-multiplier function

National has done an investigation/circuit and using LM4702 to drive
MOSFETs like:
IRF240/9240, 2SK1058/2SK162 etc.
