yet another question about LM4702

I was searching about this chip and a lot of threads poped out.

I didnt find what i was expecting, a "final" design that takes this chip the the limit, and using N channel only outputs...having in mind maximum power output, not necessary 1/00 thd resolution, and using cheap parts readily available.

maybe i didnt searched enough ?

Using only N-Channel outputs ....... hmmm
Maybe this would be possible.
One driver NPN + one Power NPN (= a custom darlington)
using devices proper for audio use.

LM4702 output is made for complementary output = NPN + PNP
But I think there are some smart ways to use all N-Channel out.


What is a little problem with finding good LM4702 circuits,
is that most clever in audio circuitry are not using LM4702.
Because they can build own input and second stages themselves.
They wont need LM4702 as much.
And so interest is very low.


Your idea is new and I can not see it is impossible.

How about fellow member quasi.
He has done some great N-Channel amplifier projects in this forum
What is he up to now.
Is he free to spend some time with LM4702 ... and most of all
is he interested, enough.
