Last year I build a lm3875 chip amp. It turn out excellent and I love it.
The only thing is that now I want to make more amps. I am thinking of getting a lm4780 kit from audiosector, and making a 4-channel amplifier to compliment my current amp. I can use the 4 new + 2 old channels to make a 5.1 setup. Here's my question: If I am only feeding the sub the signal from the sub channel do I still need a crossover? No, right? Are there any other considerations I should take into account?? |

i assume you will need to match the power for the 5 monitor speakers and have a bit more power for the sub.
