Well! nothing like stirring the pot a bit eh?
so I think I'll use a little bit of everything. I picked up some curled maple that's got a real nice figure to it in 6/4 (2" thick) about 5" tall and 12" long for the sides, with a panel from Front Panel Express, painted acrylic for the top, and a aluminum bottom & back panel (one peice - my neighbor runs a shop at a local Jr. High school, and bent some stock for me)
So I got everything covered... except for glass. But hey, you can't win 'em all..
